How ToolScanner is (not yet) monetized.
As of this page, ToolScanner has no active affiliate relationships and runs no live advertising. Every "Visit website" / "Official website" link on the site today points directly at a tool's own homepage with no referral code or tracking parameter attached, and the page's reserved ad slots aren't connected to any ad network.
ToolScanner intends to, in the future: (1) join affiliate programs for some of the tools listed here, where clicking through and signing up or purchasing a paid plan may earn ToolScanner a commission — at no additional cost to you — and (2) run advertising via Google AdSense.
Not every tool link will be an affiliate link — only specific, individually flagged ones will. Any tool detail page with an active affiliate link will show an inline note directly next to that link, for example:

This is a site-wide policy commitment, not yet reflected in any live link (see "Current status" above) — the underlying data structure for it already exists precisely so this disclosure ships alongside the first real affiliate link, not after it.
Tool rankings (e.g. the home page's "Popular AI Tools"), comparison data, and pros/cons are based on publicly available product information, not on affiliate or advertising relationships. A tool does not receive better placement, a higher rating, or more favorable comparison data because it is — or becomes — an affiliate partner or advertiser.
