Current status

ToolScanner currently has no active affiliate links and runs no live advertising. In the future, some pages may include affiliate links or advertising; when that happens, it will be clearly disclosed as described below.

How monetization works

ToolScanner may participate in affiliate programs for some of the tools listed here — where signing up or purchasing through a link can earn ToolScanner a commission, at no additional cost to you — and may run advertising via Google AdSense. Whether or not such links or ads are active never changes what the catalog says about a tool.

How affiliate links are disclosed

Not every tool link is an affiliate link — only specific, individually flagged ones are. Any tool detail page with an active affiliate link shows an inline note directly next to that link, for example:

This is a site-wide policy commitment: the disclosure ships together with any affiliate link, never after it. The underlying data structure for this already exists, so a link can never be monetized without its note.

Editorial independence

Tool rankings (e.g. the home page's "Popular AI Tools"), comparison data, and pros/cons are based on publicly available product information, not on affiliate or advertising relationships. A tool does not receive better placement, a higher rating, or more favorable comparison data because it is — or becomes — an affiliate partner or advertiser.
